Looking for an internship? Don’t believe these myths about the 3/10 and 3/15 virtual career fairs.

Hi SJSU Students / Alumni!

Don’t let common career fair myths keep you from attending the 3/10 or 3/15 virtual career fairs.  Find more tips on our SJSU career center tik tok page

Jobs in health, wellness, administration, education, government, patient support /care, nursing, recreation, human resources, and more exist at lots of companies besides hospitals and schools.  Come learn!

  1. Freshman, sophomores, juniors, seniors, and alumni can find part-time, full-time, and internships at SJSU job fairs.
  2. It’s not too late to attend a fair …. there are still group and 1:1 appointments available at both fairs. Register on handshake.
  3. If your resume isn’t ready to go, just upload it to vmock for free, instant feedback.
  4. Attending a group information session at a virtual Fair is NOT committing to a company, it’s just listening, learning, and asking questions (if you want).
  5. The time commitment to attend a virtual fair could be as little as 10 minutes – 30 minutes. You don’t have to be available for the entire event.
  6. A job you would love might be “hiding” on the career/employment page of a company you haven’t heard of yet.

“See you at the virtual fairs”!
